Prophets of Rage Rock Cleveland Near Republican National Convention

On July 18th the Republican National Convention Kicked off in Cleveland. As part of their Make America Rage Again Tour , Prophets of Rage made a much needed stop. The United States is in a pretty desperate state right now. We are in the middle of a shit storm of an election lead by two of the most hated candidates to ever run. America is being split up; our inner conflicts  is  one of the greatest threats facing our country.

Proohets of Rage is a supergroup founded by RATM guitarist Tom Morello.  Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk (all original RATM members) are joined by Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord along with Cypress Hill’s B-Real. Their new tour is fueled to fight political corruption, inequality and racism.

“Every convention that goes by that we’re not a part,” he continues, “I’m always like, ‘God, we should be there kicking this convention in the nuts!’ So here we are at the convention for Donald Trump, a guy I gotta say is Hitler. He doesn’t like women. He doesn’t like Mexican people. He doesn’t like Muslims. He doesn’t like gays and lesbians. And he’s rallied up a bunch of backwards, racist people to show up at the polls and vote. We need to rally up like-minded people to throw a wrench in his face!” Commerford said

Prophets of Rage encourage people to start movements and fight for what they believe in. They know our political system is corrupt and fueled by money, Clinton and Trump both come from millions; they know something needs to be done about it. What better place than here? What better time than now?
