Kendrick Lamar Wins Nobel Prize for Music for His Album “DAMN”

Kendrick Lamar has won the Pulitzer Prize for Music for his album, DAMN., becoming the first non-classical or jazz artist to receive the honor. The Pulitzer board announced the selection on Monday.

Kendrick is an artist that comes only a few times each generation. A voice of the people, a lyrical masterclass that finds praise on every level of his music. From critical acclaim to a widespread fanbase and powerful thunderous live performances; Kendrick is one of the greatest if not the GOAT.  He’s in the same class as Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, Tupac, Eminem and Big Pun. With every album and every song that’s released, he rises even higher than anyone could imagine.

DAMN is Kendrick’s third album and an absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word. He deserves this award, he deserves to go down in history. I can not wait to see what he has in store for us in the future.
